Joined by our clients from Vanderlande, RED enjoyed the challenge of our first warehousing shoot in Switzerland with Digitec Galaxus. We had been briefed to create the content for two promotional campaigns – in the time that we normally do one – at the country’s number one e-commerce company.
Executing this sizeable project – producing World of Vanderlande and Fast Forward promotional materials – was only possible with the cooperation of Malou, Bettina, Christoph and other colleagues from Vanderlande. In addition, we appreciated the friendly and relaxed approach of Martin and Philippe from Digitec Galaxus. They had an amazing story to tell about the origins and rapid development of the company, and the part that our client’s logistic process automation now plays in their success.
We were also intrigued by the company’s QUICKSTORE MICROSHUTTLE AS/RS, supplied by Vanderlande. Much to our amusement, the distinctive orange shuttles have been named after characters from famous movies, such as our favourite, Francisco Scaramanaga from the James Bond movie, The Man with the Golden Gun.
With its breathtaking scenery, Switzerland is always one of our favourite destinations, and the hospitality extended to us by our hotel in Villmergen (and its Grill Restaurant El Toro!) was typical of the German-speaking region near Zurich. The culture is also representative of the professionalism and expertise of the businesses that we are privileged to meet, and Digitec Galaxus was no exception.
