Leading the way in WA

As first-time visitors to Western Australian (WA), the RED team was intrigued about what the city of Perth had to offer, especially in the world of automation. As always, our client Vanderlande is ahead of the game with its innovative system already live at Toyota WA’s new parts distribution centre – the subject of our content marketing project.

Toyota WA is responsible for distributing new vehicles as well as automotive parts and accessories to 30 dealerships. The region covers 2.5 million km2, making it one of the largest service areas of any automotive distribution operation in the world. In fact, the furthest delivery point from the Perth base is about 3,500 km away.

As always, we would like to thank our clients, Vicky and Roald, for their knowledge and enthusiasm, as well as arranging access to this incredible facility. And away from the Toyota WA warehouse, we also enjoyed shooting the highlights of Perth to complement our industry-specific footage.

As avid sports fans we were interested in the close proximity of the sparkling Optus stadium and the legendary WACA cricket ground before the respective British Lions (rugby union) and Ashes (cricket) tours in 2025. And we will never forget the view of the city from Kings Park, the wild kangaroos on Heirisson Island, the beach vibe at Cottesloe, and the historic port of Freemantle.
