Team RED is working on an exciting new content marketing campaign with our client Vanderlande. The aim of “Fast Forward” is to return to one of its customers (the first was Asda) around five years after they have started working with its automated warehousing system.
This project took us on a visit to Asda’s 28,600m2 distribution centre in Warrington, where Vanderlande’s automated case picking solution is the star attraction. The aim was to see how significant improvements in performance and throughput have been achieved during this time at the site.
Our findings were fascinating. We uncovered a very successful collaborative approach between the operational teams of both companies and portrayed this in a case study with supporting video materials.
Vanderlande and Asda both shared our materials online, with the latter explaining that their partnership goes from strength to strength. You can learn about their strong way of working together and one team ethos by watching the video here.
We would like to thank Vicky and Natascha from Vanderlande – as well Steven and his on-site team at Warrington – for their help and enthusiasm in seeing this first edition of Fast Forward coming to fruition. And recommending that we sample the delights of Cardamon, a local Indian restaurant that was so good, we went on consecutive nights!
