Leveraging digital tactics for event success
Solution
To achieve this, we devised a multi-phase plan. Before the event, we focused on generating excitement and anticipation by creating blogs, countdown animations and social media content highlighted HCME’s plans for the event. During Intermat, we shifted our focus to real-time updates, creating reels showcasing their stand and the machines on display. These live posts, consisting of photography and video, not only kept HCME’s audience engaged but also attracted a steady stream of visitors to their stand. After the event, we also created a ‘Behind the scenes at Intermat’ story and shared a wrap-up across their digital platforms, reinforcing HCME’s strong presence at Intermat.
Challenge
After a break of almost 10 years Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) returned to Intermat, an international exhibition of construction equipment, and machinery, held in Paris. The primary goal was to maximise its presence and engagement through an integrated social media and blog campaign. The company wanted to create a buzz leading up to the event, maintain high visibility during the exhibition, and provide a comprehensive wrap-up afterwards.
