We recently had the pleasure of visiting Verona for a PR strategy meeting with long-standing client JLG. Nicole tells us all about her visit to the city of love.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to catch-up with the team at JLG and visit the Hinowa factory with them in Verona, Italy.
After a warm and friendly welcome, some strong Italian coffee and introductions – we got down to business, discussing JLG’s strategic direction and PR focus for the year ahead.
RED has been working with JLG on their UK media presence since 2018 – writing and distributing press releases and reaching out to journalists from the trade press.
We have also provided design services for internal campaigns and exhibitions, visited rental companies in the UK and Europe for customer videos and assisted with internal comms projects. Most recently, we have taken on the social media content creation for Power Towers.
A feast fit for a king
There were many highlights during the trip – Hinowa and JLG are excellent hosts! However, lunch at their own lakeside restaurant came out top. Hinowa laid on a feast of woodfired pizza, freshly made desserts and homemade limoncello, with a chance to walk it all off after during an immersive tour of their state-of-the-art factory.
The fun (and delicious food) didn’t stop there. We later ventured into Verona, where a short stroll through the city centre to view the Roman amphitheatre paved the way for a traditional Italian meal at Ristorante Il Cenacolo. Here we enjoyed plate (after plate!) of the finest foodand wine Verona had to offer.
