We’re hiring a Video Editor

Are you interested in the opportunity to travel while representing international clients? Do you enjoy working with helpful and enthusiastic colleagues? And would you be at home in an informal office in which every day is different? If so, you might just be RED’s new Video Editor.

What is the role?

In this position, you will play an active role in our visual output. As such, you will be a natural storyteller, with the ability to recognise engaging content, edit raw footage, select audio and turn it into movies of the highest quality on behalf of market-leading international brands. As the Video Editor, you will work closely with in-house colleagues on multiple campaigns, as well as RED’s freelance photographers and videographers.

You will work on a wide variety of projects such as customer testimonials, product videos and brand movies. In addition to video editing your activities can involve anything from working on storyboards and shot lists, and handling ad hoc requests. On occasion, you may be required to attend shoots and offer technical support on site. Ideally, you will have experience with Final Cut Pro/Premiere Pro and Adobe creative suite.

An effective communicator, you will also help to support a wide variety of creative projects on behalf of all our clients. This means you must be flexible and highly organised.
