RED raises a mug to the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

The RED team rolled up its sleeves, put on their aprons and got to work baking some tasty treats for our open coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.

We’ll use any excuse to eat cake and drink coffee anyway, but the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is all for a very good cause. Together with our guests we managed to raise £150 for the charity.

Throughout the day, RED’s guests visited the office to sample some offerings. Treats included everything from homemade sausage rolls and banana bread, to chocolate cake and gingerbread biscuits – and not forgetting (of course) the most popular choice of the day, lemon drizzle cake.

Hull FC star Mark Minichiello and his wife Milena were among some of our first guests to enjoy a catch-up and give our RED bakers the thumbs up.

RED even got the pleasure of visits from our families later on.

It was once the schools broke up for the day that the real cake-eating connoisseurs and their parents arrived in full force.

Thank you!

We’d like to give a huge thank you to all of our guests and bakers for their company, donations and helping to eat up all of the tasty food.
