The challenge
With the appointment of a new President and CEO, HCME required a comprehensive introduction to Mr Makoto Yamazawa. This communication needed to target their European dealer network and Hitachi customer base, as well as gain prominent media coverage.
The solution
We devised and agreed a Q&A with HCME that formed the foundation of our interview with Mr Yamazawa. From our interview, we created internal communications and press releases. In support of this, we also invited and coordinated exclusive interviews with two leading publishers.
The result
The exclusive interviews resulted in dedicated editorials in Construction Europe and Aggregates Business Europe. Their coverage, coupled with our own PR activities, resulted in a positive introduction to the new president. Additionally, it further strengthened media relationships with the publications who secured the exclusives.
