Hull Homeless Community Project (HHCP)

Working to good effect

Company: Hull Homeless Community Project (HHCP)

Industriescharity

Solution: digital, design

Background: HHCP supports people in the Hull area who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, through finding shelter, advice, assistance with health or financial matters and family support.

The challenge

HHCP required a professional website to reflect the growing profile of the charity. However, the existing site had become disjointed and hard to navigate. As an unfunded charity, HHCP didn’t have the resources to invest in a new website, nor the in-house expertise to make the necessary changes themselves.

The solution

RED donated the time and resources to HHCP, to facilitate a revamp of the existing website. Working in close collaboration with the charity’s founder, Andrew Smith, we planned a schedule of modifications intended to enhance the overall look and feel of the site, as well as making it more user friendly and informative.

The result

The improvements have resulted in a site that is clearer, easier to use and share information. It has created a more professional image for the charity that reflects its ambitions and can grow as the charity expands. Overall, it now has a site that the volunteers are proud to share.
