As part of our ten-year anniversary celebrations, the RED team has picked out some of our favourite RED projects over the past decade. This month, Andy shares his memories of an epic adventure to India.
Having always wanted to visit India, I was delighted to get the opportunity in March 2019. We headed to Pune on a mission to film a batch of recruitment movies for one of our clients – setting the scene for a memorable week-long stay in this bustling city.
According to the young couple I spoke to on an internal flight out of Delhi, Pune is a ‘progressive software city’. It’s an impressive sight, and a place where new meets old, and where temples sit almost side by side with modern shopping malls.
After a successful – but busy – week of filming, we were lucky enough to be granted a tour of Pune, which included markets, tea houses and crumbling historic forts. Our hosts were true professionals, and I will always look back at the people and the place with fondness.
