“If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!” This was the phrase that came to mind when the RED team joined in with the Viking clap in Iceland.
The famous football chant was brought to the Euro 2016 football tournament by the fans of shock quarter-finalist Iceland and adopted by other teams’ supporters during the knock-out stages.
A happy customer
The team met a happy Hitachi customer – who had only just taken delivery of a new Zaxis-6 medium excavator – in the Snæfellsnnes region. We joined him in paying homage to the design and engineering of the ZX250LC-6. Owner and operator Sævar Benediktsson was using the new machine to finish off the verges of a road. The road is being built to service a fish processing plant.
