RED made its second visit to Denmark in May and this was our first opportunity to venture away from the area surrounding the capital Copenhagen.
After flying to Billund – the home of Lego – and setting up base at our hotel in nearby Horsens, we explored the Jutland peninsula with the country’s Hitachi dealer HP Entreprenørmaskiner A/S.
Special RED thanks go to our amazing hostess Ninna (HP’s Marketing Coordinator) who went above and beyond the call of duty to introduce us to three happy Hitachi customers in three days.
She was also hospitable enough to present us with such Danish delicacies as the Sunset Boulevard burger joints and the stegt flæsk (or roasted pork with parsley sauce) at Café Dolly.
We were blessed with good weather as we photographed and filmed three of the latest Hitachi products: two Zaxis-6 medium excavators; and a ZW-6 wheel loader.
In addition, we were made to feel very welcome by the interviewees, the respective owners of Gustav HC A/S (in Sunds), Jysk Kloak Entreprise ApS (in Tjæreborg) and AM Entreprise ApS (in Haderslev).
