A North American challenge… in motion!

RED completed the third phase of Vanderlande’s popular ‘Challenges in Motion’ recruitment marketing campaign in North America at the end of 2017. Following a wide range of interviews in Europe and China, the team was asked to take in Vancouver, Canada, and Atlanta, USA, on the last leg of an epic project.

Whistle-stop tour

Paul and Glenn had been to Vancouver Airport with our client in 2016, and used their “local” knowledge to good effect as they worked productively with glowing subjects, Shelley and Jamie. Thanks to the enthusiasm of these two loyal members of Vanderlande’s team, the first part of the whistle-stop tour was a huge success.

The guys’ memorable journey took them to the centre of Atlanta, from where they were able to commute to our client’s North American base on the outskirts of the city. This convenient base enabled them to complete their work on schedule with a wide range of interesting interviewees (a big RED thanks to Katherine, Rebekah, Colin, Joe, Martin, Tyler, Walt and Will – you were ALL awesome!).

Heart of the action

While in town, Paul treated Glenn to his first live American sports action – in the form of an Atlanta Hawks basketball match – and a pilgrimage to the city’s Hard Rock Café (in the home of his beloved Black Crowes). A special mention also goes to Colin for introducing us to his favourite burger joint, an experience that we’ll never forget.

We would like to give a huge RED thank you to Vanderlande’s Raymond and Katja for accompanying us all of the way on the trip, as well as the Vancouver and Atlanta offices for their help and cooperation. The free reign they enjoyed around these superb facilities undoubtedly contributed to the success of the project.
